Biography

Dr. Nicole Dowgos is an anesthesia resident at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She earned her DVM from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She then went on to complete her small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington DC. Her areas of interest include neuroanesthesia, critical care anesthesia, and comparative anesthesia.

Dr. Dowgos is not originally from Massachusetts, though she feels at home here as she grew up visiting family near Worcester. She enjoys watching sports and rooting for her favorite teams including the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, and the Washington Nationals. She also enjoys spending her free time hiking, skiing, cooking, and reading. When the weather permits, she can be found attempting to leash train her mischievous cat named Freya.
