Small Animal Internal Medicine
Dr. Neketa Kakar is a small animal internal medicine resident who received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She then went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC. Her special interests include immunology, endocrinology, nephrology, and gastroenterology. When not at work, Dr. Kakar enjoys yoga, cooking, and hiking with her dog Phyn, a lab-shepherd mix.
