Wildlife and Conservation Medicine
Dr. Kristy Jacobus is a 2014 graduate of Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she completed a one year small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital. Prior to her veterinary career, she worked as an animal keeper at the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus, NJ and at the Smithsonian’s National Zoological Park. While in vet school she performed research projects studying the platypus reproductive cycle in Australia and studying parasites of pinnipeds in Brazil. She pursued multiple zoological and wildlife externships during her clinical year of veterinary school. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, traveling, SCUBA, and spending time with her cats, Dwight and Stanley.
