Emergency and Critical Care
Dr. Ian DeStefano is a resident in small animal emergency and critical care here at Cummings School. He received his veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences. After veterinary school, he completed a one year rotating internship in New York City, and then practiced as a staff emergency veterinarian in a emergency and specialty private practice in CT prior to starting residency. His special interests include treatment of sepsis, infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship, respiratory failure, and mechanical ventilation.
