Dr. Amelie Beaumier obtained her DVM degree at the University of Montreal, Canada. Early, she developed a strong interest in Cardiology and completed multiple externships in this field during her veterinary studies. She then completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and is staying on as the new cardiology resident. Her research interest focus on congestive heart failure in dogs, especially end-stage disease, dilated cardiomyopathy in the Doberman and ATE in cats. When not at work, Dr. Beaumier enjoys relaxing at home, discover new restaurants, running, baking, and of course spending time with her furry family, Charles and Louis.
