Large Animal Surgery
Dr. Amanda Prisk grew up in northwestern New Jersey and has been working with horses since a young age. She attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate degree, where she trained an American Mustang yearling for sale and was enrolled in specialized courses in both Horse Management and Equine Nutrition. Dr. Prisk attended the University of Pennsylvania for veterinary school and graduated magna cum laude in 2015. Following graduation from veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center, a busy referral practice in New Jersey. She is interested in lameness, advanced diagnostic imaging, orthopedic surgery, and emergency surgery, such as colics and lacerations.
